A rescue dog had never had its own garden before – so his mother built him a garden
By the time KaTarra Taylor adopted Bentley, he had already lived in four other houses. His anxiety and medical problems were too heavy for most people to deal with, but Taylor knew he deserved a chance to have a happy home forever and refused to abandon him.
Together, Taylor and Bentley have managed to solve many of his anxiety problems, and even if he is still struggling, he is getting better by the day, and his mother would not trade him for anything in the world.
“He’s the half sweet and half grumpy grandfather,” Taylor told the Dodo.
When she adopted Bentley, Taylor was living in a one-bedroom apartment. She knew it wouldn’t be spacious enough for the 120-pound dog in the long run – so she decided to modernize it.
“I ended up buying a townhouse so we could stay together,” Taylor said. “There was a closed patio that I knew he would like. I couldn’t afford a house with a garden, but I thought I could turn the patio into a small garden with the help of a competent person.
