As Halloween approaches, a dad named Andy Manoloff wanted to carve a pumpkin. But he was not going to make the normal jack-o’-lantern that many families make: he wanted to make one that looked like his Pomeranian, Sophie. Who has heard of a Pomeranian pumpkin?

As a person who is still struggling to get color inside the lines, Andy’s project left my jaw on the floor. He spent more than three hours carefully carving the face of his beloved dog in the pumpkin, and the result is exactly the same as that of the real Sophie.

Every Halloween, Andy Manoloff sculpts a complex jack-o’-lantern. This year, he carved his Pomeranian Sophie in a pumpkin.
