Unfortunately, many homeless people crisscross the streets of Greece, never knowing what it’s like to have a home or a family to love them. There is also an abundance of abandoned litters of kittens. SCARS, a relief organization, meets them all the time. They saved over 25 kittens in just one month.
One of SCARS volunteers has a rescue dog named Aragon. They took Aragon to walk near the mountains, where many pets – kittens, puppies, rabbits, birds – were left in cardboard boxes. Unfortunately, hungry foxes have usually met them before rescuers
One day, while walking in Aragon, he started pulling the rescuers to a box. This time, there were still kittens! Aragon has been hailed as a hero. They arrived at the kittens just in time, because they would have been eaten by a fox or other animal quite early, as were many other abandoned animals.
They took the kittens and they were examined and received a blank checkup. The staff cared for them 24 hours a day, but the kittens had a very special furry guard – Aragon! Aragon became their adoptive father and was so good at it! He snuggled with them and protected them to feel safe and loved. It’s amazing to see dogs and cats getting along as well. Love knows absolutely no species!
Kittens are now old enough and ready for their home forever. If you are interested in adopting one of these cute kittens, please send an email to SCARS at firstname.lastname@example.org.
