Analisa Trstensky and her cat, Bowser, led a very active life in Tallahassee. But she has always grown up with animals in her house and has a soft spot for rescue animals.
“Honestly, I wasn’t looking for a dog at the time! Bowser and I lived in a townhouse in Tallahassee, and I worked for a college athletics department and knew I didn’t have time for a puppy. For some reason, I followed the local shelter on Facebook (apparently, I like to torture myself) and saw his post on July 3rd. His photo caught my eye, but it was the description that caught my heart. How can a dog with such a horrible life still be so grateful to humans? I started exchanging emails with his adoptive mother, and he seemed too good to be true. He was trained for the pot, for the crate, good with his dogs, and had basic obedience skills! When I finally had the opportunity to meet him on the 7th, he really played the difficulty card. He was sitting a few yards away from me, but his tail was moving all the time.
