Christmas is the time of year for donations and staff at the Dogs Trust Ireland’s Rehoming Center in Dublin
ensures that homeless dogs are not forgotten.

Tons of toys were donated to the shelter, and instead of the staff choosing the one they thought each dog would like – they let the dogs want.

“This year, we combined the toy donations from our staff and incredible supporters, aligned them and let the dogs in our relocation centre choose their own Christmas present,” wrote the shelter.

The staff put all the toys away on the floor, then let the dogs enter the room one by one and choose their special gift. While some dogs immediately picked a favourite and ran into the room, others had to inspect each to find the perfect fit.

Toys ranged from balls to soft, squeaky toys. A happy puppy even tried to put more than one in his mouth. Another large dog named Max took his time to move from one toy to the next and also chose a few before finding his favourite. His method was to try them all. Open nex Page To See Video.
