Woman Adopts Senior Dog, Realizes It’s Her ‘Best Friend’ She Lost As A Child

Life is really amazing sometimes the way it brings people and animals together after a waste of time.

Nicole Grimes grew up as an only child. As a result, when she was 10 years old when her grandmother gave her every child’s dream birthday gift: a puppy. Nicole and her dog, a Pomeranian-Poodle cross, spent 4 years together as best friends.

Unfortunately, things changed after Nicole’s father changed jobs and went to work from home, which required a calm environment free from distraction – including barking.

For this reason, when Nicole was 14, her father dumped her beloved dog, Chloé, at the Washington Area Humane Society. It was heartbreaking for Nicole and Chloé.

8 years later, Nicole was browsing her Facebook, when she noticed information about an elderly dog who was being adopted. The dog was a Pomeranian-Poodle mix and was called Chloé. In addition, she was 11 years old, the same age as Chloé de Nicole would have been at the time.open next Page to See More
